Construction Work Starts On New Grandstand

Construction work has started on the new Premier Grandstand at Fontwell Park Racecourse and Conference Centre, near Arundel. The £6.5m scheme will create a fantastic new race day experience AND a quality venue for weddings, conferences and other events. The key features are:
For race days...
- A superb panoramic hospitality suite for more than 250 people
- Twelve hospitality boxes with excellent views over the course (available for annual, half yearly or daily hire)
- New catering and betting facilities in a spacious ground floor hall
- The creation of the 1924 Club at Fontwell House for the more discerning racegoer

- One of the biggest function suites for weddings and parties in West Sussex with room for 250 guests
- Conference space for more than 300 delegates with twelve breakout rooms

The Premier Grandstand is scheduled to open in August 2010. Race meetings will continue throughout the construction programme with temporary hospitality/bars/catering facilities in place when necessary.
