We’re excited to continue welcoming back fans to our upcoming fixtures and tickets are now on sale! We’re hoping that all restrictions will be lifted after the 19th July, however all events will be run in accordance with the latest guidelines available on our news pages.
We are very pleased that, with the relaxation of restrictions in place from Monday 17 May, we will be in a position to offer further improvements to the Owners raceday experience.
All owners that declare a horse to run at an ARC racecourse between 17 May and 20 June will receive a letter from the racecourse with full details of how to claim your badges and what to expect when you join us to watch your horse run. Whilst we appreciate the experience will not be the usual one, we are working hard to expand our offering in line with government guidelines. All owners must register their attendance in advance and follow the code of conduct.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Fontwell Racecourse and thank you for your support.
Please use the button below for some owners' Frequently Asked Questions regarding the return to racing. This includes how many badges you can claim, access to the parade ring, food offerings and more.
Check In - All owners will need to complete the COVID-19 online learning module in advance of the day followed by health questions and a temperature check on arrival at the racecourse. Please note: Given that there are separate parking arrangements for each zone, we would recommend owners and racing personnel travelling separately.

PASS - It is essential to register your attendance no later than 4pm the day before racing using the Racecourse PASS System via https://www.rcapass.com If you do not have access to the PASS System or need any assistance in its use, please contact the PASS Helpdesk on 01933 270333 or firstname.lastname@example.org
ID - All owners, guests and representatives must bring Photo ID with them to the racecourse. Note that it is currently not essential to bring your PASS Card.
Times - The Owners Entrance will open one hour before the published first race time, and there is no requirement for Owners to arrive or leave at any given time. You may enjoy as much or as little of the race meeting as you wish with us.
Entrance - We are now delighted to offer two Owners passes per runner. If you have any questions please contact the racecourse directly on 01243 543335 or email email@example.com.
Parking – Owners parking has been changed to the centre of the course. This can be accessed by the entrance on the A27, 0.5 miles past the roundabout heading towards Chichester. This can also be seen on the map; which can be found using the button above.
Facilities – The new Owners Zone consists of the first floor in the Tecom Grandstand, some of the Paddock Enclosure and viewing of the home straight and winning post in front of the Tecom Grandstand.
Complimentary Catering – This will be provided as a range of quality sandwiches, salads, fruit, crisps, snacks and bottled water served in a takeaway style as well as complimentary tea and coffee. Please note there will be no bar available.
Racecards – Condensed A4 racecards will be available to all owners.
Parade Ring – Due to the limited space, and the strict infection control measures operating, you will not be able to access the parade ring at any time. However, you will be able to view the parade ring from the Paddock Enclosure.
Jockey’s debrief – There is a debriefing area at the bottom of the parade ring that you will be able to stand and speak to both jockey and trainer if you wish. We would ask respectfully as there is limited space that we keep everything moving whilst always observing social distancing.
Zones – It is important to understand that the Owners Zone is separate from the Racing Zone and access is not allowed between the two in either direction which is a direct consequence of the infection control protocols.
Winning Memento – The connections with a winner will receive a picture of their horse and jockey and a USB memory stick recording, both of which you will be given on the day. Social Distancing – You will be required to maintain 2m minimum distance from others. Please follow instructions from signage and stewards and we thank you in advance for your co-operation.
Racing – For information on the Going and Weather, please contact the Clerk of the Course, Philip Hide on 07976 761945 or firstname.lastname@example.org

I would like to say a very big thank you for the excellent way we were treated at your course. Having complimentary soup and sandwiches on offer when we arrived was a pleasant step up on some of the courses we attend, especially as I had run a half marathon before jumping in the car to drive to your course … The fact that we had success with our runners obviously made it a special day, but it was wonderful to find such welcoming and enthusiastic staff to greet and cater for us after the wins. Nothing was too much trouble and the children were made to feel welcome with soft drinks while we sipped our winners champagne. All the staff that we encountered were equally helpful (extra race-cards for the syndicate members not able to come were made available without fuss, and ring staff were able to give us more information about the trophies). Experiences like this make owners want to return with their horses and so racedays are enhanced for all. Well done and thank you.
