Located on the South Coast, just outside the picturesque town of Arundel in greenest Sussex, Fontwell Park Racecourse has plenty of outside space and flexible indoor facilities. 

Function Rooms & Halls for hire

Set within 65 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside, we have experience in running successful, large-scale events. Indoors, we have a variety of function rooms for hire ideal for conferences or seminars while outdoors, our vast site and infrastructure is perfect for accommodating a drive-in movie, food festival or even a Wintr Wonderland with fireworks.

Fontwell Racecourse Outdoor Events Venue

Premier Ground Floor

Perfect for any private function, the concourse measures over 600 square metres and includes its own bar and café, toilet facilities and terrace overlooking Fontwell gardens. Comfortably accommodating up to 500, the space also benefits from plasma screen, remote control AV and lighting and panoramic views across the course.

Premier First Floor

This highly versatile room can seat up to 500 guests but can also be divided into three smaller rooms with separate entrances and soundproof partitions. There is a balcony overlooking the racecourse allowing plenty of natural light which can be minimised by black-out blinds if required. Plasma screens, a projector and built-in microphone system add to the appeal of this flexible space.

Premier Second Floor

Consisting of 12 breakout rooms and one double box, these professional suites are perfect for meetings, training sessions and seminars, and each boast a balcony that offers stunning views across the racecourse. They also benefit from plasma screens, relaxed seating areas with sofas and views of the racecourse – perfect as your breakout area.

Landscaped gardens, bars and more

Fontwell House

One of our most photogenic locations, this Grade II Listed building with its distinctive pillars and stepped, patioed entrance dates back to the 1920s and, set within landscaped gardens, is a favourite amongst guests as a tranquil area for reflection and group photos should you need it. Inside, the floor to ceiling windows flood the room with natural daylight providing a unique, intimate setting for social occasions or parties.

This beautiful large suite is the perfect choice if you want an outdoor but covered venue, whether you wish to gather your employees together to celebrate achievements and talk future strategy, or if you wish to celebrate your wedding day with everyone you know. Comfortably accommodating up to 350 attendees with a bespoke BBQ and private bar on the decking, this is perfect for summer events.

Located inside the grandstand are our Figure of 8 Bar and National Sprint Bar. These are ideal for smaller gatherings and parties with views over the racecourse and beyond.

Fontwell Park is situated on the A27/A29 roundabout between Chichester and Arundel. Access to our main car park on racedays is from Fontwell Avenue (A29 towards Bognor Regis), the entrance is 300 yards from the roundabout on the right-hand side.
