Welcome to your essential guide to Superhero Family Fun Day!
We look forward to welcoming you to Fontwell Park for a day of exhilarating jump racing and live superhero entertainment. We hope this guide gives you a good overview of all that's taking place today, and answers any questions you may have.

PARKING:
For Trackside (pre-booked) customers, please follow the A27 entrance.
For main car park customers, please use the main entrance. Please be aware this is soft standing parking, operated on a first-come, first-serve basis. We advise car sharing where possible to reduce congestion.
There will be an overflow car park in operation once the main car park is full. Customers should use the west car park off the A27.
SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE:
There will be a free shuttle bus in operation to and from Ormiston Six Villages Academy, Lime Avenue, Westergate, PO20 3UE and the racecourse. Free car parking is available at the school on a first-come, first-serve basis, capped at 100 parking spaces. The car park is open 10:30-18:30, with the first bus departing Ormiston at 11:00. The last bus from Fontwell Park will depart at 18:30.
The bus will also pick up from the local stops between Lime Avenue and Fontwell Avenue on the way. There is more detailed travel information here but please check local timetables and taxi services before departing.
ENTERTAINMENT:
Families can enjoy seven races alongside free activities such as roaming superheroes, a superhero workshop, inflatable attractions, face painting, fairground rides, and the entertaining Superhero Parent Race.
SUPERHERO PARENT RACE:
Any adult wearing a superhero fancy dress can enter the Superhero Parent race for the chance to win free hospitality to our next Family Fun Day in September. Number of participants will be capped on the day. To enter, please head to our racecourse reception to register your interest. All contestants are to meet by the red gate track crossing immediately after the third race.
ICE CREAM PACKAGES:
Ice Cream Packages will be available from the Bakehouse and Figure of Eight, please have your scannable tickets ready when collecting.
WEATHER:
The forecast for Sunday is sunny intervals and a fresh breeze, with highs of 19 degrees (as of Wednesday 21st May). Please check the local forecast before departing and dress accordingly!
FOOD & DRINK:
A range of bars and food outlets are available serving a variety of tasty food and refreshing drinks. A range of vegetarian and vegan food options will be available across the racecourse. Please be aware that picnics can be brought into the racecourse but must be consumed in centre course, no drinks may be brought in.
SECURITY:
We take security and safety very seriously. There will be a strong security presence and you will be subject to a bag search on arrival.
We ask all visitors not to leave bags unattended and to report anything suspicious to a member of staff.
PAYMENT:
Please remember, the majority of food outlets and bars are card only but we advise you to also bring cash for betting purposes. There are no cash machines on site so please bear this in mind.
