Whether you prefer a relaxed look or high fashion, our top priority is that you feel comfortable and confident during your visit. That being said, dressing up for feature jump fixtures like the National Spirit Hurdle is always a hit and adds to the excitement.
Please note that hospitality suites and specific enclosures may enforce formal dress codes, so review ticket guidelines upon booking. Because the heart of our jump racing season falls over autumn and winter, warm coats, scarves, and sensible, weather-proof footwear are ideal. General admission is primarily standing, so keep this in mind when picking your shoes. If the winter weather sets in, you can easily pop into one of our many indoor enclosures to warm up.
Gates open approximately two hours ahead of the first race, leaving plenty of time to grab a bite, find a good viewing spot, and soak up the Sussex atmosphere.

Fast-track entry is available via e-ticket mobile scans or printed passes. Seating in general enclosures is unreserved, so consider a hospitality upgrade if you want a reserved table for the afternoon.

If you fancy upgrading your day to include restaurant dining or private hospitality, packages can be purchased in advance - or you can reach out to our team to upgrade your general admission tickets prior to the fixture. The Premier Restaurant offers fine dining with views of the unique figure-of-eight track.
Unless officially permitted for select race days, outside food and drink cannot be brought into the venue.
