One of the biggest days in the Fontwell Park calendar is back! Join us on Sunday 28th February 2027 for a spectacular afternoon of racing as we host the National Spirit Raceday featuring the prestigious National Spirit Hurdle - a key highlight of the jumps season and a favourite for racing fans across the country.

The National Spirit Hurdle🏆

First run in 1965, the National Spirit Hurdle is the richest race held at Fontwell - a Grade 2 contest that has seen some legendary names grace the turf. From Baracouda to Lough Derg and Brewin'upastorm, the roll of honour is packed with class. Last year's winner Potters Charm's next run following his dominant win was the Aintree Hurdle so its definitely a race to follow!

Run over 2 miles and 3 - furlongs (which equates to 2.4miles), it's a real test of speed, stamina, and jumping ability. Whether you're a jumps racing aficionado or a casual racegoer, this is your chance to witness one of the most important trials on the road to Cheltenham.
