Combining thrilling evening horse racing, race-day fashion, the prestigious Style Awards, live entertainment on stage after racing and a spectacular drone show, Ladies Evening at Fontwell Park is the perfect way to celebrate the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Dress to Impress at the Ladies Evening Style Awards

No Ladies Evening at the races would be complete without the Style Awards!

Open to all guests, the Style Awards celebrate the best in race-day fashion, with racegoers encouraged to showcase their individual style and dress to impress. Simply have your photograph taken at the event's photo wall for your chance to be considered.

This year's Fontwell Park Ladies Evening Style Awards are sponsored by Glorious Spa, with more than £1,000 worth of prizes available across the top three places.

The first prize includes:

• £500 cash!
• A Seventh Heaven Spa Package for two, worth £225 per person
• A £250 voucher for Seahorse Millinery

There are also Glorious Spa prizes available for second and third place.

The judging panel brings together fashion, beauty and styling expertise, including Stephanie Ridge of Glorious Spa, award-winning milliner Jeanette Battersby-Wilcox of Seahorse Millinery, and stylist Amber Jackson, founder of Amber Styled It and a regular fashion contributor on ITV's This Morning.

Exciting Jump Races

While fashion and entertainment are a major part of the evening, racing remains at the heart of Ladies Evening at Fontwell Park, and marks the beginning of Fontwell's 2026/7 season!

The evening features six jump races, with jockeys and horses taking on Fontwell Park's distinctive figure-of-eight track. The racing action begins at 16:05, building towards the final race at 19:35.

For experienced racegoers, it's an opportunity to enjoy an evening of competitive National Hunt racing and see new talent emerge at the beginning of the season. For newcomers, it's a chance to experience the atmosphere, excitement and tradition of a day at the races in a particularly glamorous setting. This season opener isn't one to miss!

Take That Tribute, Gary Booker DJ Set & Drone Show

Once the racing action comes to an end, the evening continues with a packed entertainment programme.

At 19:50, racegoers can enjoy a live Take That tribute from The Take That Experience, bringing some of the group's biggest and most recognisable hits to Fontwell Park. The party continues at 21:20 with a DJ set from V2 Radio's Gary Booker, providing classic dancefloor favourites and keeping the atmosphere going into the evening.

Then comes the spectacular finale. At approximately 22:10, the skies above Fontwell Park will light up with a drone show, providing a memorable visual finale to an evening of racing, fashion and live music. With the music scheduled to finish at approximately 22:00, guests can look forward to a dramatic final moment before the evening comes to a close.
